1. Introduction to Log Building - 13 day hands on and classroom instruction taught by instructor Robert Chambers.
Introduction to scribing, cutting, notch making, saddle notch and long groove cutting. Introduction to safe work principals including chainsaw safety and working with tools of the trade. Introduction of How to Fit Logs Together ("Level 3 course").
2. Introduction to Log Home Construction 13 day hands on and classroom instruction taught by Robert W. Chambers. Includes log selection, door and wondow installation, plate logs, roof construction.
Course continues where you left off from course above with finishing building a full scribe handcrafted log cabin shell ("Level 4" course).
