Typically we have good supplies of beautiful dark orange heartwood Douglas Fir, and also have Ponderosa Pine so specify the species desired. Both are equally great to work with and both look great. Our logs are harvested though sustainable means and without clear cutting! Plus, our logs have a very low sap content, making building that much easier.

Once your logs are delivered, you need to get the bark peeled as soon as possible to remove the potential for rot. Our peeling team will travel to your location and peel your logs correctly the first time using many years of experience and very sharp drawknives. The average house log house can require well over 60 logs and hiring a novice with poor tools is a good way to ruin your entire log set. We'll peel your logs quickly and beautifully.
